Rim fire polishing
BBK excels in high quality rim processing. It ensures a flawless, smooth finish by using controlled heat to melt away imperfections and enhance the clarity of glass.
Rim fire polishing completes the cutting process, producing edges that are smooth, uniform, and free from over thickness. BBK’s burners ensure optimal accuracy and consistency in the edge-melting process. Thanks to an easily adjustable burner system, we achieve even heat distribution, resulting in edges with high compressive strains after cooling.
The machine’s capacity is determined by the number of chucks and burners, allowing for extended polishing time when necessary.
BBK offers two fire-polishing machines:
- a 16-chuck model, capable of handling up to 6 pieces per minute
- a 24-chuck model, managing up to 20 pieces per minute
Both are designed for small-scale or low-speed, high-quality production.
For higher volume production, our RXXT+ model, equipped with 60 to 100 chucks, supports production rates of 20 to 80 pieces per minute.
