Laser cutting machine

Our precision-engineered laser cutting machines deliver clean, accurate cuts for a wide range of glass processing needs.

Laser cutting machines

Our automatic lines run 24/7 in premier tableware facilities worldwide

From manual blowing to Blow-blow and Press-blow machines, we offer cost-effective solutions and the finest edge quality, tailored to meet your specific production requirements.

BBK’s high-speed crack-off lines provide the most advanced solution for processing beadless glasses, fully compatible with Press-Blow and Blow-Blow equipment.

Delivered as complete lines, the S-machines are specifically designed for continuous production of stemware and tumblers. With high performance and efficiency, they can process beadless glasses in soda-lime, barium, or crystal at speeds ranging from 1 to 80 pieces per minute.

Our range allows customers to find the ideal solution based on the number of sections in their blowing machine.

2 laser cutting configurations by BBK

BBK offers two robust and highly efficient laser cutting configurations, both designed for industrial applications.

Generation 2 Laser Cutting

Widely used with over 70 machines in operation globally.

Utilizes a 2-step thermal shock process:

  • Step 1: CO2 laser focuses to create a breach on the glass surface
  • Step 2: Laser defocuses to heat the glass, leading to the separation of the finished item from the moil

Followed by:

  •  Grinding stations for a perfectly flat rim
  • Beveling station to bevel the rim

These finishing operations ensure the highest rim quality available on the market.

“BBKleave” Laser Cutting

  • Newly introduced on BBK machines using a high-power picosecond laser
  • Operates in a 2-step process:
    •  Step 1: The laser creates “small holes” in the glass
    • Step 2: A thermal source (CO2 laser or burners) separates the finished item from the moil
  • First Version:
    • Features only the “BBKleave” process
    • Produces a finished rim without beveling
    • Recommended for very thin glass, legs, or intermediate rim quality
  • Second Version:
    • Combines “BBKleave” with grinding and beveling operations
    • Offers flexibility to either use BBKleave alone (no dust or water required) or follow up with grinding/beveling for the best rim quality

For manual production, BBK offers the Compact 6 and Combi 12 machines.

For manual production, BBK offers the Compact 6 and Combi 12 machines.

The Compact 6 incorporates all the processes found in the S machines, including cutting and diamond finishing operations.
The Combi 12 is designed specifically for larger items, providing more grinding positions and reinforced checks to securely handle heavier pieces.
